Bill Farshee was given several design perimeters at the onset of this project. This home should have a dominate presence on this street of other impressive lake homes and should take full advantage of its linear site and offer front and rear lake views. A third floor retreat was also desired. During construction, the builder, Kenny Hayes decided that this home would be kept for his family's personal enjoyment and not be offered for sale. It was also featured in the 2006 Showcase of Homes. The builder has been approached by prospective buyers, but Kenny held firm and politely told those inquiring that he had promised his children this would remain their lake home. The family is currently enjoying all that Lake Martin offers from their spacious amenity-filled lake home.
